According to ‘Globes,’ a new 45-story tower is set to be built on the current parking lot between Dubnov Street and Leonardo Da Vinci Street in central Tel Aviv. The 2.4-dunam (0.6-acre) site, located at 4-6 Dubnov Street, was acquired at an Israel Land Authority auction by Israel Canada subsidiaries for NIS 443 million, including development costs. The new building will offer office spaces and 170 residential apartments.
The site is located next to the National Kibbutz Movement building, which is marked for preservation, in a highly sought-after area of Tel Aviv, near Sarona and the military headquarters compound. Despite objections from the Ministry of Defense last year concerning the tower’s height, the 45-story project received final approval.
